...For Beautiful Skin
By Peta Wilson and Robyn
Some of TGF's prettiest readers have agreed to share with us their favorite style, beauty and "how-to" tips. This week features ideas from Peta Wilson and Robyn
Peta Wilson:
I've been wearing make-up now for so long now (46 years) I hardly think
about it anymore. It just goes on like my dress. But it wouldn't work if I
didn't prepare properly.
I've been using top quality cleansers and
moisturisers for about the same period and at 60 I get regular compliments
from GGs about my skin. Remove your make-up with a cleanser first and then a
little quality soap and water and pat dry, don't rub. Use a night cream
every night and begin the day with a day cream before you apply your make up.
Do it religiously every day, even if you're not wearing make-up over. But
the final hint, wear something everyday even in boy-mode. I use Clarins
bronze-tinted moisturiser which imparts a soft glow and has never, ever been
noticed to the point of comment. It pays off, specially as you get older
and the skin would normally begin to lose it's elasticity.
Robyn:
Here is a beauty tip on make up that I use and have found gives me that
flawless skin look with out having to cake it on.
First, of course, a very
close shave , then I use a cover up for those dark places we all want to
cover up! Dermablend Quick Fix in a light or medium is the best one I've
found. Then over that I use Revlons Colorstay makeup and I blend Rich Tan
with Caramel to get the color for me. I love this stuff because it doesn't
rub off and lasts forever!
Then a medium translucent powder to finish will
give that flawless look ! I am sure that u will like the way u look ,then do
your eyes and blush lips and u are set . Hope this is a helpful tip for you!
