How to Fasten your Bra Like a Woman
By Elizabeth Parker
Have you ever wished you could fasten a brassiere like a woman? Of course you have.Oh sure, many women fasten a bra like we do; hooking the back strap in front, rotating the bra to the back, then slipping their arms through the straps. But if you're like me, you've wistfully wished you could fasten your bra the way you used to think you should; sliding your arms through the straps first, dangling your breasts into the bra cups, then reaching around back the way only women seem to be able to do, and adroitly fastening the back hooks. For years I strove to fasten my bra this way, just as I tried to do most things as a woman would, but I never came close as I am not a very flexible person. Until recently that is.
About 4 years ago, I became interested in the martial art of Taekwando. Embarking on an intensive black belt program and working out about 20 hours a week, I pretty much replaced my crossdressing with this activity. Well, I earned my black belt and then relaxed some, allowing previous interests to come to the forefront of my life once again. Soon of course, I was renewing my acquaintance with Elizabeth. After one outing, I noticed how easy it was to remove my brassiere. I began to wonder, could I fasten it the way I wanted to now? No sooner thought than done. I replaced my bra front-ways, with my arms through the straps, then with the grace of Gwyneth I reached back and fastened the back. Fantastic! How could that be, I wondered?
I finally came to the realization that the some of the stretching exercises required for Taekwando were responsible. Below let me show you what you can do to achieve the same results with some help from the ultimate bible of stretching, "Stretching", by Bob and Jean Anderson. Note that all stretches should be performed gently. Don't push past the point of pain. Don't jerk into the stretch. Neither will help you loosen up any quicker, and in fact will harm your efforts by increasing the risk of injury. Hold each stretch for at least 10-15 seconds. Repeat as often as desired.
The first exercise will stretch the shoulder and middle of the upper back. Pull your elbow across your chest toward the opposite shoulder and hold the stretch. Repeat with the other arm.
The next exercise will stretch your triceps and the top of your shoulders. Starting with your arms over your head, hold the elbow of one arm with the hand of the other arm. Then pull the elbow behind your head. Remember to
take it slow and easy. Place each arm over your head and use the other hand to grasp your elbow. Pull your elbow behind your head as far across as possible. Repeat on the other side.
There are some other exercises I've come across, including some from yoga, which have interesting possibilities. But these are the ones I can vouch for.
I'm not sure how long it will take you to achieve results. I did these stretches 3-6 times a week for 4 years before discovering this benefit. I wouldn't be surprised if 6 months to a year produced the desired results. But if I can do it, believe me, so can you! So good luck! And let me know how it worked for you.
