I spoke personally to the P.R. chief for ThermoLase, specifically to get whatever information I could. This is the upshot as of Friday:
1) ANYTHING you hear regarding the function or effectiveness of ThermoLase is a RUMOR.
2) The company's approval by the FDA was so fast, they were caught without a CEO. The lack of a CEO has them without a marketing plan, as that must be approved BY the CEO. They will not be releasing any official info until the have a CEO in place and his signature on a marketing plan.
3) They are still in negotiations with the FDA on labelling and advertising issues. The lack of information about the product is deliberate, as they do not wish to violate the law by saying too much too soon. When the requirements of the FDA have been finalized, they'll know what they can say without trouble.
4) They prefer to issue any official information THEMSELVES. The only exception has been my messages with this info, which they approved.
