A support group for the Transgendered and their loved ones
Our History The Paradise Club began in a tiny motel room in far off Warren, Ohio over twenty years ago. Brought together by circumstance, the members gathered there to give each other the support that they needed to be able to live their lives and know that what they were doing was not such an evil thing. The club soon outgrew their boundaries and moved to the Cleveland area and resumed their meetings in a friendly establishment. Many sisters have come and gone in the past twenty or so odd years, but the spirit and intent of the club is still there, to provide a safe and secure environment for one to express their inner selves to the world.
What we do At our monthly meetings, we gather to listen to a variety of topics in regards to our community, members and their needs. From the art of makeup to classic deportment and everything in between, we try to bring to the member as much information as possible to help them bring out the best in them. One of the newer aspects of the club, Girls Night Out, is turning into a success. Held on non-meeting weekends, it gives the brave of heart an oppurtunity to get out in society and explore their feminine side.
Our requirements First of all, we are what is considered an "open" club or organization. This meaning that sexual orientation has no bearing on whether you can become a member or not, in fact, we do not care what you are. That being said, however, we are NOT a sex club and sexual advances are not allowed. An interview must be held for membership into the club. By contacting us, we can arrange to set one up. When attending meetings, members MUST be dressed in either one gender or the other, no "half and half". Outlandish or bizarre forms of dressing are also not allowed. If you have a question as to the nature of such an outfit, the club must okay it.
