Why Buy From Us?

The #1 reason is confidentiality. Let me tell you a story. I went to Amazon.com to see what new books were available and I decided to buy one in order to determine if I would carry it at the CDS Bookstand. I bought it using my male name and email account. Within days, I started receiving email from other sources touting tg/tv related items and services. Amazon.com had sold my name and address. Now that pissed me off big time and I've asked them to remove my name from their lists. When you buy tg-related books from any commercial online bookseller or their Associates, your name ends up in a databse.
At CDS, we treat every order with the highest confidentiality. We've never sold our customer list to anyone and we don't abuse our customers with lots of junk mail. When you place an order thru CDS, you can be assured of two things: (1) Your name and address remain confidential and (2) your credit card number is never stored in any of our computers, even those not connected to the Internet.

The #2 reason is that no commercial bookseller puts money back into the community. CDS makes regular contributions to organizations like Renaissance, IFGE, ICTLEP, FtM Intl, and SPICE. We often help co-sponsor events like the new TransAmerica conference in Charlotte, NC, this year. So, when you buy from CDS you indirectly help the tg community, too.
