Installing the Connection Point Administration Tool

The last step in setting up Internet Remote Access System is installing the Connection Point Administration tool. You can set up the administration tool on the same computer as the Connection Point Server or you can set it up on an administrative computer. This section contains information for setting up the Connection Point Administration tool on your administrative computer.

To install Connection Point Administration

  1. If necessary, start the Internet Remote Access System Setup program on your administrative computer.

  2. In the Internet Remote Access System Setup window, click Connection Point Services.

  3. Follow the prompts and accept all the default options. When the Components dialog box appears, click the Connection Point Administration option.

    After all the files are copied to your hard disk, a message appears confirming that installation is complete. When you are done, the Internet Remote Access System Setup window reappears. Click the Close button on the window to exit the Internet Remote Access System Setup program. Your administrative computer is ready for use.
