Active Sever components are an exciting way to add functionality and flair to your Web application. Don't let the potential power of components scare you off or make you think that building a component requires a vast amount of experience. While their creation does require special care and attention, simple and functional components can be written quickly and easily.
Several examples follow that demonstrate key concepts in component construction. There are several samples provided for each programming langauge listed here.
