The Intel® VTune™ Performance Analyzer collects and displays software performance data from the system-wide view down to a specific function, module, or instruction in your application’s source code, enabling you to " drill down" into identified performance bottlenecks.
• Sampling uses non-intrusive technologies
• Call Graph displays the program's flow of control graphically
• Analyzer has detailed knowledge of the processor’s microarchitecture
• Intel Tuning Assistant suggests optimization techniques
• New support for Itanium processor, thread support, and remote analysis of Linux* kernels.

Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives (IPP) is a cross-platform software library which provides a range of library functions for multimedia, audio codecs, video codecs, image processing, signal processing, The Intel Integrated Performance Primitives (IPP) serves up a low-level layer that abstracts multimedia functionality from the processor underneath. With a single API across the range of platforms, ISVs can have platform compatibility and reduced cost of development. Intel® IPP is optimized for various Intel® architecture processors, including the Intel® Itanium™ architecture, Intel® Xeon™ processors, the Intel® Pentium® 4 processor the Intel® Pentium III processor and the Pentium II processor. Intel IPP is also optimized for the Intel® Personal Client Architecture (PCA) based on the Intel® XScale micro-architecture and the Intel® Strong ARM* micro-architecture.

The Intel® Math Kernel Library provides developers of scientific and engineering software with a set of linear algebra, fast Fourier transforms and vector math functions optimized for the latest Intel® architecture processors including Intel® Pentium® 4 processor, the Intel® Itanium architecture. MKL contains LAPACK, the basic linear algebra subprograms (BLAS), and the extended BLAS (sparse). In addition, there is a set of fast Fourier transforms in single- and double-precision, real and complex data types with both Fortran and C interfaces. MKL also includes a set of vectorized transcendental functions in the Vector Math Library (VML), offering both high performance and excellent accuracy compared to the libm functions for most of the processors. MKL is available for the Microsoft and Windows operating systems.
