Keyboard capture is the most reliable capture method. It allows you to spend some time setting up the capture using the mouse (for example, to drop down a menu, open a dialog box, or a shortcut menu) before capturing.
To use the keyboard to capture screen images
Press ALT+K to select keyboard capture.
Position the window, desktop, or menu the way you want it.
Using the mouse, point to the title bar of the window, and then press F11 to capture the window or F12 to capture the full screen.
Note
If the window you want to capture does not have a title bar, then click Mouse on the Capture menu. Point to the window you want to capture (the window will be highlighted), and then click the mouse button.
