AVI Format

Choose between AVI 1.0 and AVI 2.0 file format. Choosing AVI 2.0 means that you can capture files larger than 2 Gigabytes but these files may be incompatible with other PCs which do not have the new AVI 2.0 drivers installed.

To summarize:

• Select AVI 1.0 if you do not wish to capture files larger than 2 Gigabytes, want to use the files on somebody else's PC or if you wish to publish the files on the internet.
• Select AVI 2.0 if you need to capture files larger than 2 Gigabytes.
