Preferences: Colours
Allows you to customise the colours of various screen elements.

Click the Palette button to choose a colour

Top   Display splitbars using this colour
If ticked, splitbars will be shown using the selected colour.

If unticked, splitbars will blend in with the background of a window.

Splitbars divide the panes in a window and can be dragged to adjust the sizes of each pane. Normally splitbars are hidden but you can choose to make them visible by setting a colour and ticking this option.

Top   Search window, matching text colour
This sets the colour used in the Search window to display the text that matches the search criteria.

For example, searching for Jon would display:
Jonathan Riker
Jon Peters
Mike Jonson

To hide the matching text, set this colour to black.

Top   Search window, float-over text colour
This sets the colour used in the Search window when you move the mouse over the list of search results.

To hide the float-over effect, set this colour to black.

Top   Other colours
To set the colours used in the Diary, see Diary Appointments

To set the colours used for viewing events and profiles, in Windows click on:
Start
  > Settings
    > Control Panel
      > Internet Options
        > Colours

Note We use Internet Explorer to display events and profiles, and so the colours used will be the same as the colours set for browsing the internet. You cannot change the basic colours of black text on a white background though.
