Quick new contact: Folders
    When you create a Quick new contact it is stored in the New Contacts folder as specified in Paths.

In some circumstances you may want to redirect new contacts depending on the caller, and you can set the rules for this in the Quick new contact Folders section.

Top   When would this be used?
  Imagine that you sell lemonade and you get leads to follow up in two different ways; by advertising in the local paper and by receiving new customers from your mother who tells all her friends about your excellent lemonade.

When you receive a call from a new customer you want it to be created in the New Contacts folder, but when your mother rings up with the details of a new customer you want to create it in a folder called Mother's Friends.

To achieve that, you would:
  Click Create 'quick new contacts' based on criteria
  Click Add to add a new criterion
  Click the box for Call from (Company or Contact)
  Search for the person supplying new leads
(in our example, your mother)
  Click the box for Create 'quick new contacts' in
  Search for the target folder
(in our example, the Mother's Friends folder)
  Click OK
     
    Now, if you receive a call from your mother and during the call you create a new contact, it will be created in the Mother's Friends folder.
     
    Note If you specify a Company or a Family in the Call from box, you automatically include all contacts within that Company or Family as people who will cause the target folder to be used when creating quick new contacts.
     
  To delete a criterion:
  Highlight a list item
  Click Delete
     
    Note The New contacts path is assumed as the target if none of the criteria are met.
