You can rename a favorite using the outline, the toolbar and the menu bar. Renaming is sometimes necessary because Search Party only accepts unique names. For instance, you made your old roommate John a favorite and just labeled it "John." Now you'd like to add another John to the favorites list, but since "John" is already used, you will have to come up with a unique name, such as John Smith.
The following steps assume you have already added a favorite. If you have not already added a favorite, please see the To Add to Favorites section.
NOTE: To rename a favorite from the outline, right-click the favorite on the outline. Click Rename Favorite. To rename a favorite from the menu bar, open the Favorites menu and click Organize Favorites. The Organize Favorites dialog box appears. Select the favorite you want to rename, and then click Rename.
