Project Browser

The FruityLoops Browser contains a special folder named Current Project. When expanded, this folder shows a list of patterns that contain events for one or more automated controls. The entries in those subfolders represent the controls that were automated in the corresponding pattern. Left-clicking an entry opens its Event Editor. Right-clicking opens a menu that allows you to open an Event Editor in a new window and link the control to a MIDI controller for remote controlling.

The Project Browser can also display which patterns contain Piano Roll data. Right-click the Current Project folder and deselect Show Automation Only (on by default). You will see a list of patterns that contain Piano Roll sequence(s) as well.

Each file appears in the Browser with a special icon on the left side of its name:

• - Automated or initialized controls.
• - Piano Roll score.
• - Property linked to MIDI or Internal controllers.

Project Browser Sections

• Initialized Controls - Contains a list of all controls that were initialized. Right-click and entry and select Delete Event to remove the initialization.
• Remote Control - Contains a list of controls that were linked to MIDI or Internal controllers. Right-click an item in this folder to see the automation menu for the control.
• Pattern Folders - These folders list all automated controls for the individual patterns. If Show Automation Only is not selected, then the Piano Roll scores are listed as well. Right-click an item in these folders to see the automation menu for the controls.
