What is FruityLoops?

FruityLoops is full-featured sequencer for creating songs and drum loops with internal mixing and advanced MIDI support. The resulting song/loop can be exported to a MIDI file or rendered to a WAV/MP3 file.

FruityLoops is a pattern based sequencer, which means you create your songs in pieces (patterns) using the Step Sequencer and the Piano Roll view and then weld those pieces together using the Playlist window. Then you can add a wide range of effects to your instruments, such as reverb, phaser, flanger etc.

• Internal 32Bit floating point mixing, 44Khz stereo.
• Supports DirectSound and ASIO enabled sound cards for audio output.
• Realtime linear interpolation, better interpolations at rendering time.
• Click removal & volume ramping to avoid pops.
• Open architecture allowing third-party generators (own Fruity generator standard, VSTi and DXi) and effects (own Fruity effect standard, VST, VST2 and DirectX).
• Included filters: reverb, 7 band equalizer, delay line, distortion, phaser, flanger, compressor, bass boost and other.
• Up to 16 FX tracks with 4 FX send tracks supporting up to 8 filters each.
• Imports *.WAV, *.SYN (SimSynth 1 & 2), DS (DrumSynth) files, with effects applied.
• Imports MIDI notes and controller events.
• Integrated sampler & synth bassline engine (TS404).
• Included plugin generators: 3xOSC, Plucked!, BeepMap, Wasp (demo), SimSynth Live (demo), MIDI Out, DX10 and more.
• Live recording of control movements.
• Easy MIDI remote controlling of most parameters (VST plugins as well).
• Procedural control over parameters by using special controller plugins.
