A trap there might be, but the routine I wrote genarates a block of 50 byte that is exaxtly the same as the one generated by your program before it checks it against your 50 byte block. So if there is a trap there it must not be working or my program has managed to avoid it. Further more I took a fifty byte block generated by my program from an 8 charactars password and placed it at 406120, where your key block resides then entered my password and that gave me the "CODE ACCEPTED THANK YOU SCREEN". SO Either your trap is not working or I have managed to avoide it. If I was dealing with a commercial program that uses your protection scheme, I would cosider the program cracked, and would have been able to destribute such working cracked copys to all my friends.
