Each cabin has two bedrooms, kitchen, livingroom with TV, bathroom with shower and toilet, washing room and freezer. Electric heating in all cabins. Two of the cabins have dishwasher, a fireplace and a terrace. In addition to these cabins we also have a house and a storehouse on pillars on the farm. The farm The cabins are a part of our farm Setran. We have sheeps, chickens, pigs and rabbits. We also have two dogs (Border Collie) named Lady and Laika. During the summer you can join us haydrying the old fashion way. On the barn you can jump in the hay. There is also a farmshop and a sawmill at the farm. Suitable for disabled persons All cabins are suitable for disabled persons. You can park your car close to each cabin. There is also a road all the way down to the sea, with easy access to the boats. The boats are steady and made out of aluminum with a flat bottom. There are also several places with easy access for wheelchairs for fishing in rivers or lakes. Fishing The fjord Opl�yfjorden is ideal for fishing. The fjord is protected from the open sea as there are numerous islands. You can visit one of the many islands, find yourself a peacful beach. If you have the necessary equipment for diving you should bring it along. Along the fjord you can visit the old remains from thousands of years. You will find the nature in this area to have a lot of variety. This is a very interesting area for anyone interested in geology. In walking distance from the farm you can catch nice trout. A fishing license gives you access to several very good lakes and rivers. You can catch trout, salmon and eel among others. In the river Oppl�yelva you can catch salmon up to 16 kg. ! Fishing during the winter for cod, especially during March-April, is a popular activity, as well as ice fishing for trout. Berries and mushrooms During late summer and fall there is normally plenty of berries in the forest. You can find blueberries, cloudberry, cowberry and raspberry. There are also many different mushrooms. Boats We have boats for rent made out of plastic and aluminum ranging from 14 to 17 feet, with outboard engines (4-16hk). We also have smaller boats and an aluminum canoe for use on the lakes and rivers. You can also join us for a trip on our 21 foot Yamaha Jog sailboat, an experience out of the ordinary. Bikes We have 3 bikes for rent. Trails In walking distance from the cabins there are several trails (tractor trail) in the forest suitable for hiking or biking. Here you can also use wheelchairs and baby carriage. It is fairly common to spot both moose and different birds like grouse. Trails for skiing Along the same trail that you can walk during summer we have made ski trails during winter. The area is suitable for families and there are several places where you can stop and make an open fire. We also have a childrens slide available. The hosts The hosts are Anna and Frode Setran with their little son Marius. Gerda and Peter Setran are the grandparents also living on the farm, helping you to have the best vacation possible.
