Trotting with participation from all over the country, often 8 - 10 races on one day. Denmarks best horses and sulky drivers meet here on our 1.000 metre racecourse. To be able to follow the races on the racecourse, it is recommended to get the Race Magazine (V�ddel�bsbladet) which tells you everything about the horses and drivers.

Gallop races take place on a green lawn and on a larger racecourse - about 1.400 metres. Often there will only be 1 race per day -normally 2- and on special gallop days perhaps even 6 races. The biggest gallop day is the second friday in August with participation from the whole elite at Funen.

From turnovers of about 1.3 million DKK about 1 million is paid as winnings to the gamblers. If you are prevented from being at the racecourse there are betting shops all over the country - DanToto shops - easy to recognize by a lilac flag with a yellow horseshoe. Here there often is directe monitoring on loudspeakers.
