If there is no answer, then this is perhaps due to
The port was disconnected due to hardware failure means
- Your computer is not connected to the modem
Check the connection
- The modem is not turned on
Check the power is on - The computer thinks the modem is on a different port
Check the port by selecting Modems in Control Panel;
then select Properties;
then ensure the port is correctly set
If you get a message saying that Windows95 cannot
establish a connection, try a standard modem type.
Other problems
If you need to dial a prefix before calling us
To make the change permanent:- Select Modems in Control Panel;
then select Dialing Properties, then enter the prefix.
To cure unreliable, slow or connections which hang
