Introducing ShellX - FileDate

  • Set date and time created, last modified, and last accessed
  • Set time on all files in a folder at once
  • Specify any date and time combination
  • Use on FAT16, FAT32, and NTFS
  • Batch capable like all PACT Software: Automate your software publishing!

 

Why change the file date?

  • Make your work look great!
  • Mask the time you really created your docs
  • Hide when you last accessed files
  • Memorize a certain date/time
  • Indicate the version number in the file time
  • For publishing software and documents
  • Automate per shortcut or batch!

  

Command Line Options

Specify the full path of the folder, date, and time on the command line of the shortcut or in from within a batch file. The /time: field must have the full lenth, you need to specify 08 for August, not 8, and so on. HH is always 24 hour format.

SetFileDate <folder-path> /time:yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm:ss

Note: All files in the folder will be changed.
