Cleaning up badly formatted text
When you copy text from one program, it is not always suitable for pasting into another. Three typical examples are:
1. If you copy text from an html editor like Dreamweaver, the clip will contain all sorts of html code as well as the text.
2. Email relpies often have > marks at the beginning of each line.
3. When you copy from some programs, They insert a line break at each word wrap position. When you paste the clip into another program you find that paragraphs contain short lines like:
Once upon
a time, deep in the dark
wood
There lived a very very old man who
was known
to everyone in the village as..........
If any of these problems happen to you, right click on the clip. It will then appear in the text editor which has text cleanup services for most problems:
Before paragraph clean up.
After paragraph clean up.
