Arranging Clips Within a Group

Some groups are best arranged alphabetically. Others are best arranged in the order they will be used. Choose the option for alphabetic. Choose the option to arrange the order manually. With static selected, you can drag clips around within the group.

Arranging Groups Within a Library

The same alphabetic or static options are available for your group names in the choose group window.

Where you have several groups containing similar clips, it is worth numbering them, whether or not you use alphabetic order. For example:

Addresses 1
Addresses 2
Addresses 3
Etc.

If you have the group Addresses 2 on screen, you can switch to Addresses 3 or Addresses 1 with a left or right click on this button.

Arranging for Sets of Three Groups

For many tasks, you will not want to select just one, but three groups of clips. The program provides two ways to do this quickly.

1. Having selected the three groups you want to see together, click this button

Now, no matter which groups you have selected, you can return to those three groups with a single click on this button

You can add as many sets to favorites as you wish. Where you have more that one, the first click on the favorites button displays the last set you used and you can cycle through the others using left click for forward and right click for back.

2. Whenever you use these controls to select a library for all three columns

Groups 1,2 and 3 from the selected library are always displayed first.

Where you have three groups you wish to display quickly, and they are in the same library, make them groups 1,2 and 3 and select them here. Save your favorite sets button for sets where the groups come from different libraries.

Note. If you already have three groups you would like together and they are not in groups 1, 2 and 3, select "Static" in the choose group window. You can then arrange group names by dragging just as you do with clip names.
