The Eyedropper is used to pick up colors from the Palette window or directly from the editing area. Press the left mouse button to load Color A or the right button to load Color B when the Eyedropper cursor is displayed.
Click on the Eyedropper tool button. The Eyedropper will return to the previous tool after a color is selected.

Press SHIFT while the cursor is over the edit area. The Eyedropper will return to the previous tool when SHIFT is released.
