eCatch 2.1 is a personal and innovative information database manager which aims at improving the way you browse the Web.

On the left side, eCatch displays the address tree directory : an address is merely an URL such as http://www.ecatch.com. In case you click a link, no matter if you are online or offline, eCatch scans its personal database to check whether the page is already stored and then opens it. Each time eCatch does not find a document, it creates a shortcut in order to download it next time you connect. Try it to believe !

Entering offline search engine queries and posting offline forms are part of eCatch features ! So that eCatch is great for consulting web-based mail services (i.e.: hotmail), for posting on Web board forums (do meet users on the eCatch Web board !) or even for submitting periodically your site to major search engines. Try that feature, you'll be amazed ! To put it in a nutshell, eCatch allows an advanced, efficient and cheap offline browsing. Moreover, an internal multi-criteria search engine (Altavista like) allows an easy access to downloaded documents.
