AOL has similar chat facilities, though clumped into UK and US chat venues. You are rather touchingly warned that US folk canÆt cope with some of the language youÆll see in UK chat, when you switch through to the US chat rooms. The AOL chat software looks a little clunky, and dumps you into a æfoyerÆ chat area while you decide which area to go to, which I found unnerving to begin with.
