Pisces often feel like this: like deckchairs left on the beach all winter. People have gone, even the people paid to look after deckchairs. Sea's miles out, the beach is flat mud. It's windy. Rain rots the deckchair's wood and the stripey bit's mouldy and couldn't be sat on ever again. | |

People are warm indoors, from the
beach their windows are just blurry orange dots where their
lights are on and their fires are lit and they're eating hot meat
and singing. But the deckchair flaps about on concrete-coloured
mud, waiting for summer. Not always just Pisces either. |
