Use Import functions

Linkman allows you to import several different bookmarks formats.

Importing Internet Explorer Favorites

Select the pane in which you want to import IE Favorites. Run the File | Import | Internet Explorer Favorites command. A dialog will pop up. Select your IE Favorites directory and click Ok. Linkman will load your IE favorites in that pane.

Importing Netscape Navigator Bookmarks

Select the pane in which you want to import the Netscape Bookmarks. Run the File | Import | Navigator Bookmarks
command.
A dialog will pop up. Select your Navigator bookmark file and Click Open. It usually tends to be Bookmark.htm with Netscape 4.x and Bookmarks.html with Netscape 6.x. Linkman will scan your bookmark file and load the URLs in the selected pane.

Importing Opera Hotlist

Select the pane in which you want to import the Opera Hotlist run the File | Import | Opera Hotlist
command. A dialog will pop up. Select your Hotlist file and Click Open. It usually tends to be default.adr in the Opera Installation directory. Linkman will scan your Hotlist and load the URLs in the selected pane.

Importing Tab Separated Value

Select the pane in which you want to import the File and run the File | Import | TSV
command. A window will pop up. Select a file by clicking on the ... button. Assign the columns to the values and click on the Import button.

Scan Files for URLs

Select the pane in which you want to import the File and run the File | Import | Scan Files for URLs
command. A window will pop up. Select the File you want to scan by clicking on the ... button, it should be preferably a html file or txt file, but the function will work with all files.

What is the Deep Mode
?

With the Deep Mode
turned OFF Linkman will search for html <A HREF> tags and extract both the names and the paths of the found URLs. With the Deep Mode turned on Linkman will find any links that start with http:// or www, but not extract the URL names.

Click on the Scan
button and the process will begin.
