Duplicating layers

You can duplicate any layer within the same object. The new layer appears below the original and is automatically selected.

To duplicate a layer:

1. In the Object Layers palette, select the layer you want to duplicate.
2. Do one of the following:
• Choose Layer > Duplicate Layer.
• Click the Duplicate Layer button  in the Object Layers palette.

To delete a layer:

1. Select the layer in the Object Layers palette.
2. Do one of the following:
• Choose Layer > Delete Layer.
• Click the Delete Layer button  in the Object Layers palette.
