Resizing objects

You can resize--that is, enlarge or reduce--an object relative to its anchor point.

To resize an object using the bounding box:

1. With the selection tool , select the object or objects to scale.
2. Drag a handle of the bounding box until the selection is the desired size. Shift-drag the handle to preserve the proportion of the object.

To resize an object using the Transform palette:

1. Select the object you want to scale.
2. Choose Window > Transform if the Transform palette is not open.
3. Do one of the following:
• Enter a value in the width text box , and press Enter or Return.
• Enter a value in the height text box , and press Enter or Return.
