Using text fields
The text field tool creates text fields for Flash output. When you add a text field, it is assigned a variable that you control through scripting. The text field options in the Properties palette determine the behavior of the text in the text field, as well as how the text field acts on export. You enter text in text fields in the same way as point and paragraph text.
