Zooming into and out of the timeline

You can zoom in and out of your timeline just as you can zoom in and out of your composition. When you zoom into the timeline, you view a shorter duration in the window, making it easier to work with keyframes that are very close together. Zooming out allows you to see more of the timeline and is especially useful for an overview of object durations.

To magnify and reduce your view of the timeline:

Do one of the following:

• Click the zoom buttons ,  to zoom out or in, respectively.
• Drag the zoom slider  to change the magnification.
