Terminology

Cogitum Co-Citer allows you to work with several collections of the texts.

Within the collection you can organize grabbed texts and text-related information into groups called folders, according to your own criteria. Folders can be exported to another collection as well as to HTML, sent by e-mail, renamed, moved, or deleted.

Folders are organized as a hierarchical ôtree.ö That means you can create folders with unlimited numbers of subfolders. The top folder of the tree is called root folder. Only one root folder can be created. By default, the root folder called My Citations and the subfolder called Default Collection are created. Initially they do not contain any information.

The grabbed text and the text-related information comprise the citation. Each piece of information within a citation (such as Title, Internet address, Comments) is called field.
