Send a Folder by E-Mail

Co-Citer allows you to send both a particular folder (with its subfolders) and the whole collection by e-mail. To send a folder by e-mail:

  1. Select a folder you want to send by e-mail in the folders tree. If you want to send the whole collection, select the root folder (the top folder of the tree). Please note that sending a folder will also send all the subfolders it contains.
  2. Click the Send by E-mail button. The default mail program will be launched. If you want to select another mail program, click on the downward arrow button. Co-Citer will automatically attach the selected folder to your message.
  3. Fill in the rest of your message and send it.

When you receive a collection as an attachment by e-mail you can begin to work in one of two ways: either save the attachment according to your mail program instructions, or double click on the attached file (this will automatically launch Co-Citer).

If you want to change the default e-mail program try the following:

  1. Launch Microsoft Internet Explorer or switch to its window.
  2. Select Tools -> Internet Options.
  3. Open the Programs page.
  4. Select another e-mail program from the E-mail drop down list.
  5. Click OK.
