To disable a network adapter


  1. Note the name of the network adapter that is displayed in the Power Link Installer window.

  2. In Power Link Installer, click Fix.

  3. In the System Properties window, click the Device Manager tab.

  4. Double-click Network adapters.

  5. In the Network adapter section, select the adapter you need to disable.

  6. Select Disable in this hardware profile.

  7. Click OK.

Windows prompts you to restart your computer. Power Link Installer continues after your computer restarts.
