Performance Testing

The following tables represent the results done on three different systems to provide a performance comparison between the current market leaders and Olectra Chart v1.1. Column One gives a brief description of the system used for the test. Columns Two, Three and Four represent the test results for the three companies involved in this test.

On the same row as the system information, there are five numbers in a column. These five numbers represent the number of times a loop was able to complete the drawing of the selected number of points in a 60 second time frame. In the row immediately under this, you will find a single number indicating the average of the five executions of the program. The row immediately following this indicates the number of times faster Olectra Chart is, compared to the particular competitor.

There are two tables: one covers test runs using 100 points/loop and the second covers test runs using 500 points/loop.

Something else to note: at the bottom of each table, a second run was also done with Data Batching enabled in Olectra Chart (which is the recommended method we always suggest a programmer use) to show the 'real' performance difference between the three products being tested.
