<< ** >>› PRESIDENTS MESSAGE›› by ALEX PIGNATO›› By the time you read this, the› 3rd NEAR*US meeting will have taken› place in NEW JERSEY, with› representatives of ATARI clubs,› working to bring together the many› ATARIANS of all platforms.›› Be sure to read JOE HICSWA's well› done report of his reaction to the› March 11th second NEAR*US meeting,› hosted by the OL' HACKERS. I can› assure you that a good time was had by› all.›› Also read his report on the NEAR*US› meeting of March 26th, which for lack› of better accomodations was conducted› in PENN Station, Newark, N.J.. Would› you believe it, we were able to› accomplish all that we set out to do!› **› When I write this column, you› have noticed I'm sure, that at times I› write as President of OHAUG, and› sometimes as editor of the OHAUG› newsletter. Wearing two hats does get› confusing at times, so please excuse› the mix of presidents talk and editors› talk, O.K.? I try to bring you ALL THE› NEWS THATS FIT TO PRINT!›› This month we bring you a› companion program to last months new› PRNTST20.BAS, also by our own TOM› ANDREWS. Look for REFRMAT2.CTB on this› disk. Its a program to give you the› ability to format text in any line› length you desire, regardless of its› original length, and to have it print› out justified. To run it you must have› a formatted DOS 2, or 2.5 disk, and› then you must first run RUNTIME.COM.› The complete documentation is also on› this disk. TOM has done a great job› for us 8 BIT'ers, and I hope you feel› his sharware efforts are worth a› couple of your bucks, so that he is› inspired to continue making great› programs. Those of you who used his› PRNTST20.BAS printing program, know› the value of his work, so lets show› him and other good programmers our› appreciation.›› This months column is short› because I wanted to have room for text› as well as programs, such as› REFRMAT2.CTB, and RUNTIME.CTB. Even› though many of you have these› programs, there are others who do not,› and this newsletter has to cover all› our members! ›› I want to thank, all our non-› local members for sending me different› disks, programs, and news. You can be› assured-you are partly responsible for› any success that OHAUG has over the› past 10 years. I'm proud to say that› we have not missed a newsletter› deadline for all that time. You can be› sure that your OHAUG newsletter will› be in your mailbox every two months,› come rain or shine!› ==*==*== ››
