Searching your library

You can search through all information in the Media Library feature. Although Media Library organizes your audio for you by album, artist, and genre, and your video by author, you can search for a file using one word. For example, you can search for songs with the word candle in them. The results of your search are published in a playlist that you can use immediately.

To search your media library

  1. Click the Media Library feature.

  2. Click Search.

  3. In the Search Library for Media dialog box, type the words that you want to use for your search. Select options from the Find entries by matching list to further refine your search.

  4. Click Search Now.

If any matches are found, the results of the search are published in a playlist.

  5. Click View Results to view the playlist that displays the results of your search.

    Click Close.

You can view the results of your search in Media Library under My Playlists at any time.
