Real-Time WYSIWYG

Visual Page is the only Web page design tool with real-time WYSIWYG!

Real-time WYSIWYG means that as you modify your Web pages, you see the impact of the changes immediately. For example, you have some text wrapped around an image and you want to resize the image. Visual Page updates the image and the text immediately as you drag the border of the image. The benefit of real-time WYSIWYG is the time that that you save by not having to modify the image over and over again to make it look the way you want it to.

Try this:

Enter edit mode by selecting the Edit Page Icon .

Once you are in edit mode, select this image and drag its border to make it bigger. As you drag the border you see what the image looks like when you immediately let go of its border. In addition, the text that is wrapped around the image automatically adjusts as the image is resized. This dynamic, real-time updating of the Web page also works with tables. When you resize a table or one of its cells, Visual Page dynamically updates the text in the table as you drag the border. Visual Page displays the page exactly how you want it to look without having to repeatedly drag and drop the image or table border.

Other tools only show you how the page looks after the modification is complete. This inefficiency causes you to repeatedly modify the image until the Web page appears almost the way you want it.

Now try this:

Following is a copy of the text and image located from the previous paragraph. It has been placed in the a table cell. To see the incredible flexibility of Visual Page's real-time WYSIWYG table customization, select the left cell and drag the cell's right border back and forth. Notice that the cell height and text are automatically adjusted to accommodate the width of the cell. Now resize the image. Notice that the cell and text adjust themselves automatically to accommodate the new image size.
