Visual Page includes a powerful HTML source editor!

If you are more experienced and want to edit the HTML source code directly, Visual Page includes a syntax colored HTML source editor. The source of the current Web page is easily accessible by selecting the Edit Source Icon .

Visual Page's source editor makes it easy to understand the code by using different colors to represent text, tags, comments, attributes, and values. Additionally, sections of the code are indented in order to make it easier to read. The source editor supports Find and Replace, making global file changes quick and effortless.

Because of Visual Page's two-way editing feature, changes made in the source editor are reflected in the visual editor and vice-versa. This makes it easy to move back and forth between both editors and work the way you want to work.

View this page's source by selecting the Edit Source Icon . While in the source editor, delete the following images:






Close the source editor and you see that the images are deleted from this page. However, the images are not deleted from your computer or Web server.

If you don't know which HTML source lines correspond to these images, you can still work confidently in the the visual editor knowing that Visual Page does all the HTML coding for you.

If you want to learn HTML, the source editor is a great place to start. You can experiment with HTML by making changes in the visual editor and seeing the changes in the source code. You can also make changes in the source code and see the results in the visual editor.
