FTP Client Included!

Visual Page's built-in FTP client provides easy Web site publishing!

Publishing your Web site is as easy as logging onto your Web server, selecting the files to publish, and clicking publish. It's that easy! Visual Page even gives you several overwrite options to choose from so you can select whether to publish all files or only the files that have changed. If you usually post your files to a particular Web site, you can set up default log-on information in the FTP Site preferences.

Try this:

Select "Edit"/"Preferences" from the menu bar. The Preferences menu will appear. Next select the FTP Site tab. Enter your FTP host name, directory, user name, and password. This will cause this information to appear by default every time you select "File"/"Open FTP Site". This way you don't have to enter your FTP account information every time you publish your pages.

When you are done with this page, close it and return to the main Visual Page Highlights section. Don't save your changes to this page in case you want to view the original page in the future.
