Sending Mail

Using Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Internet Mail or a MAPI-compatible e-mail program, you can create and send e-mail messages.

If you have installed Microsoft Internet Mail, please see Mailon.hlp for more information about how to use the program.  

To specify your default e-mail program

  1. On the View menu, click Options, and then click Programs.
  2. In the Mail box, click either Microsoft Internet Mail or MAPI-Compatible Mail Program.

To send e-mail

  1. To open your mail program, type mailto:mailaddress in the Address box.
    Or click the Mail button on the toolbar.
  2. Log on to your e-mail program, and then follow the instructions provided with it.
