Personal and Public Planners

OfficeTalk users can create personal planners and also public planners, which are a way of planning and sharing information on long term or background activities and events. Planners contain planner bookings which are one or more days in duration. Good examples of typical uses of planners would be a holiday planner, a training schedule or an exhibition schedule. For instance, a planner may be created which keeps the holiday dates of the entire workgroup. This information will then be available to all OfficeTalk users for use in their own planning and scheduling. As well as viewing the planner itself, users can choose to see relevant planner bookings for any time period in their Diaries.
