OfficeTalk's remote-working facility allows personal diaries, task lists, planners, projects and mail to be automatically downloaded onto a notebook, to run independently of the network. Public projects and planners, contact and conversation information and other users' diaries can also be downloaded.

Any portable computer or notebook attached to a network can be used to work remote. In this way the latest information is always to hand. On returning to the office, the workgroup database will be automatically updated, and users alerted to any changes that have taken place.
