EARTHWORDS For Alien Dinosaurs -- Windows Evaluation Version

When alien dinosaurs from the planet Dinopia landed on Earth,
they were amazed to discover that we speak many different 
languages here. Taking their DinoFlex camera in hand, 
they began to explore our planet, recording the way different 
languages express the same common objects.

The results of their exploration are recorded in 
EARTHWORDS FOR ALIEN DINOSAURS -- a version specially prepared 
for Earthlings by permission of the Dinopian High Council, and
re-engineered for Earth voltage and PC computers running Windows
by Right to Left Software and Editions Renyi in Toronto.


INSTALLATION

From Windows' Program Manager click the 'File' menu then select
'Run' and type A:INSTALL.EXE.


HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

EARTHWORDS for Windows requires an IBM-compatible PC
running Windows 3.1 or higher with 256 color display.

Minimum: 386 CPU with 4 MB RAM.
Recommended: 486 with 8 MB RAM and a Windows compatible sound card.


THIS EVALUATION VERSION

This version is a fully functional program, including 4 language
activities with 3 difficulty levels. It contains 10 words in each
of 17 languages, each word with an animated illustration. Voice pronunciation
by native speakers is included for English, French, Spanish, German,
Russian and Japanese. Other languages are in text only.

The program was designed to interest young people in learning a new language,
to let them see how different languages say the same thing, to introduce
foreign characters, and to help with spelling in their own language. 

EARTHWORDS is fully customizable, and can be created in almost any
choice of languages the Dinopians have explored.
