PATCH FILE PAGE

Here are the game patches that appeared in Tom McDonald's 
Extended Play column for March. We've also included an 
archive of all the patches we've run so far (that's every
patch mentioned in an Extended Play column since PC Gamer
first hit the stands). It's an excellent reference for
patches.  
 
To install these patches, enter the \PATCH subdirectory on our 
demo disc. You'll need to copy each patch into each games  
appropriate directory on your hard drive. The archive of patches
are located in the \PATCH\ARCHIVE subdirectory. You'll need to have 
a version of PKUNZIP to unzip either of these patches. 


Commanche: Fast Machine Fix (CMOM2C.EXE) - Includes Speed Lock for 
fast machines and General MIDI support, and contains all previous
hardware compatibility updates.

Flight Commander II v.1.01 (FC2PAT.EXE) - Fixes PBEM feature video 
driver problems.

NASCAR Racing v.1.1 (NCR11.ZIP) - Allows the use of IRQ 10 with certain
sound cards, solves problems with control functions in joystick
calibration, and allows competitive racing after qualifying in 
pole position.
 
As with all these patches, make sure you have your original files
backed up in case you need to reinstall. PC Gamer will not accept
