Shield Overload. (Hyper Shields)
This technology allows the pilot or captain of the ship to deploy additional shield cover for a short period (1s) This would normally be used by the crew if a collision or impact were anticipated. The facility does overload the shield generators, so some time is required before the system can be re-armed.
