___CASTLE OF DEATH___ THE STORY: You are the most trusted warrior of your King, King Shafter. Your most hated enemies, the Liqers, have stolen the sacred Rod of Trust. Shafter has devised a plan to regain the Rod, and it involves you. The plan is dangerous, but you must regain the honor of your kingdom, so you take it. You must allow yourself to be captured by the Liqers, and taken into their palace for torture and execution. Before you (and your friends in co-op) are killed, you break out of your cage and kill the guard. You are now loose in the palace, and you must find the Rod, and uncover the secrets which will eventually end in your capture of the rod, and escape of the palace. If you leave the palace without the Rod, you will be executed by your own people for dishonoring them further by failing the King's mission. Fight your way through the palace, get the keys, overcome the many obstacles, kill the Lord of the Liqers, and get out! THE ENEMIES: Sabreclaws: These creatures are the Liqers main guards and protectors. You will find them very often. Golems: Usually slaves of the Liqers, they are sometimes given magical powers and used to defend the palace. If you see them in cages, they are not any friendlier, so be sure to kill them. Gargoyles: Just the Liqers best friend, they are nothing more than pets with an attitude. Mages: Very powerful protectors of the magical artifacts of the Liqerian Palace. They attack in groups. Ophidians: There are just two in the level, they are guards in the torture chamber. Weredragons: Big, stupid oafs that do the job of killing every escaped prisoner and intruder.
