Guide : *.ut2 files go in Maps/ *.usx files go in StaticMeshes/ *.utx files go in Textures/ *.ogg files go in Music/ *.uax files go in Sounds/ *.u and *.int files go in System/ ==================================================================================== Author's Notes -------------- -Put your world detail on low to get + ~500 fps. When setting world detail to low a lot of FPS eating plants and particles will be hidden, giving you a serious FPS boost but reducing the visual quality of the map. High world detail = Everything Medium = everything except a few particles and the cloud and lightning projector Low = No particles, no plants, no treeleaves, no small details such as buckets, one layered water, etc... -If it looks too bright, these are my settings -> Brightness=0.470000 Contrast=0.710000 Gamma=1.200000 + NVIDIA superhigh color correction for better contrasts, I hate washed out colors like 95 procent of the people have on their screens and tvs -The map makes use of advanced shader and mesh setups and thus might not display correctly on older PC's. If you have a new pc and a serious visual flaw occurs it might help updating your video card drivers. It did for me :) -The tank can get stuck on the rocks sometimes, this is not a problem on my side. This will be fixed in the upcomming patch. -The fog is rather crappy, for enhanced visuals tho less performance turn the fog on by typing "Show fog" in the console. This only works offline. -For some completely obscure dark reason the lightning flash itself seems to build up a delay. If you play half an hour it will be noticable later then the thunder sound.
