================================================================ Title : Abyss-Lite Version : 1.0 (For UT2004) File Name : AS-Abyss-Lite.zip Author : Cory 'SpoonDog' Spooner Email Address : thespoondog@planetunreal.com Web Page : http://www.planetunreal.com/spoondog ================================================================ Files : AS-Abyss-Lite.ut2 Credits : Scubagear was coded by Wormbo ( http://www.koehler-homepage.de/Wormbo/index.html ). : Also thanks to him for some advice and being so helpful at very short notice. : Thanks to the author of AS-OceanFloor for the inspiration :) Other maps : Too many to be bothered putting 'em in here (bout 45 or so...) : (Just visit my website - see above) --- Construction --- Editor(s) used : UnrealEd 3, Photoshop 7, 3DS Max 5. --- Installation --- To install the map, just unzip the archive to your UT2004 directory and it will automatically put the files in the right folders (AS-Abyss-Lite.ut2 file to \maps, Scubagear.u file to \system) --- Notes --- The "-Lite" suffix basically means that it is a watered down version as I did not have time to fully implement all the features or do the polish that I wanted (and I hope to release a "non-lite" version some day). You can turn world detail to low to lose most of the particle fx but it won't give a huge gain. Level runs well on my 1.3Ghz, 256MB SDRAM, Gf4 Ti4200 machine with minimal optimisation so that's saying something. Shouldn't be a huge memory load as the number of textures used is reasonably low for such a large level. That's enough... This level and any custom meshes/textures are copyright Cory 'SpoonDog' Spooner, September 2004.
