1. General Information:

  . This game is free. You can play it all you want and copy it for other people 
    without paying anything. However, you can't modify it, sell it, or use 
    graphics from it without express permission.

    If you really like seiklus and want to support future efforts, you can
    donate 2-3 dollars or something through Paypal. If you do this, you won't be 
    buying the game or even "registering" it, as it is free. I suppose it would
    make a sequel more likely, though. Anyway, you can use this address:

  . The music in this game is made up of MOD/XM files that I have collected by 
    different artists. I didn't create any of them and they do not belong to me.
    You may distribute them independent of the game. For the music credits, 
    either finish the game or read the embedded MOD/XM file information. If you 
    are the author of some of the music used in this game and are opposed to its 
    use here, please contact me.

    I may eventually create my own soundtrack, but the reason I've included the 
    music I have is to expose people to the world of chip music who might never 
    discover it otherwise. The songs from this game and many others are

3. Keyboard Functions:

  . Use the arrow keys to move and to jump.

  . Press <Space> while playing to see the status screen.

  . Press <Q> or <Esc> at any time to quit.

  . Press <C> to capture a screenshot. 
    Screenshots are saved as BMP files in your seilkus folder.

  . The <W> key has a special function within the game, 
    but is not available right away.

  . Press <S> to save your game. 
    The game cannot be saved on the subscreen and at certain other points. 
    If you see a disk appear in the upper right corner of the screen, 
    then your game has been saved.

4. Tips:

  . Watch your surroundings closely, or you may miss important clues.

  . Yes, it is possible to get 100% and to reach all of the treasure chests.

  . If you're stuck, try to remember something you saw somewhere that may be
    a clue.

  . If you want to erase one of your saved games, delete the corresponding 
    "seiklusN.sav" file in your seiklus folder.

  . If you replace seiklus with a newer version, your old game save files may no 
    longer work.
